Humana offers PPO insurance for individuals, and a wide variety of group programs through various local businesses. Additionally, Humana offers a very popular program specifically for California veterans.

Humana Individual Plans
Dental Preventative Plus
A basic PPO plan, subscribers to Preventative Plus retain a $50 individual deductible and a $150 family deductible, meaning once you’ve paid a deductible for three people in your family, you won’t need to pay any more deductibles for the rest of the year.
Many basic services (e.g., routine cleanings and x-rays) are covered 100%, with partial coverage for fillings and other basic services. For more information regarding specific coverage, please contact our office or Human Dental directly.
Humana Preventive Plus Package for Veterans
This program offers all of the features of the Dental Preventative Plus plan, along with additional services that are provided at significant discounts.
Humana Group Plans
Traditional Preferred
This program offers the most comprehensive dental coverage available through Humana. Most major dental work is included in the plan (e.g., crowns, bridges, dentures and others).
PPO
Like the Traditional Preferred program, Humana’s PPO plan covers most major dental work. The difference is patients have the possibility to pay lower monthly or yearly premiums; in return, they will have a higher copayment.
If your employer does not cover all premiums (and you and your family enjoy good general dental health), the Humana’s PPO program may prove to be a good fit.
Preventative Plus
Less expensive than the previous two programs, Humana’s Preventative Plus is a discount insurance program that still allows you control over choosing your dentist; however, it does not cover any major dental procedures.
